We decided together in 2010 that we were going to stop eating meat. After flirting with veganism a couple of times since then, we finally committed to the lifestyle this year. We learned a lot as we transitioned from vegetarian to vegan. Giving back is something that gives us a sense of purpose. If sharing our experiences can help people make healthier lifestyle choices and live cruelty-free, we’re all for it.

We’re husband and wife, from Montréal, Canada. Together, we created Eh Vegan on Instagram to fuel our passion, support our goals, and inspire others.

I work as a store manager at lululemon. It’s an environment where goal setting is alive and encouraged. I had it written in one of my 5 year goals to have published a cookbook. You’ve got to start somewhere right? We had just come back from a trip to LA, and were sitting by the ocean in Vancouver when we decided to start up Eh Vegan. A place where we can share what we’re up to and inspire others along the way!  What I love most about this project is that it brings together so many things that I’m passionate about—food, travel, fun & photography. When we’re not busy cooking and making a serious mess of our kitchen, I like to spend my time doing yoga, stand up paddle board, or exploring with our husky, Blizzard.

For the last few years, I’ve been working on different startups, and managing a couple of my own businesses. It became clear that I truly appreciate connecting with people, and connecting others (we’re often the last ones out the door at social gatherings; something I’m pretty sure Vic holds against me). Eh Vegan allows me to do just that. I fuel my passion for animal rights, supporting healthier eating habits, and growing the plant-based collective. When I’m not working on building my business, I am organizing local tech startup events, walking around the neighbourhood with Blizzard, or traveling somewhere new and exciting with Vic.
