The end of my pizza drought.
I am a lover of pizza. To the point that I feel like I lived off cheese pizza during my years as a vegetarian. Now that I’m going on 8 months vegan, I will say that I kinda miss it, but never enough to indulge. There’s something comforting about opening up that cardboard box and getting hit by the smell of a freshly baked crust. As I write this, I am realizing that it has been 8 months since I ordered a pizza. Enter Panago Pizza.
A familiar feeling.
Panago was kind enough to slip us a few pizzas on the house on a recent trip to Ottawa. As I stepped out into the cold with the boxes, the familiar steamy pizza smell hit me for the first time in a while. Drool worthy, but you don’t need to drool, because you get to dig in!
Panago’s vegan offerings are impressive (you can find a complete list here). Five crust options, all vegan! They offer a meat-free pepperoni and dairy-free Daiya cheeze. And of course, all the veggies you can imagine. It’s never been easier to order a vegan pizza. While that may seem overwhelming, there is something for every taste!
Because you can’t live on pizza alone, we paired it with a garden salad and Panago’s own organic lemonade. They have a fun “Create Your Own Salad” option, which includes almost all the veggie options at no extra cost. The Simple Italian is the vegan dressing option. They also offer their own Panago Pizza branded line of organic juices and lemonade.
Panago Pizza is online.
