Vegan Shortbread CookiesPrint Recipe
- 1/2 cup vegan butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- 2 cups flour
Preheat your oven to 350F.
Cream the butter, then add the maple syrup, vanilla, and salt.
When combined, add the flour.
The dough will start to dry out, so you'll need to combine it by hand.
Add a little extra maple syrup or liquid if your dough really feels too dry.
Flatten the dough on your countertop and cut your cookies!
Place on lined baking sheet and bake for 14-16 minutes, until edges are just golden brown.
Allow to cool, then dust with powdered sugar, and serve!
