Vic and I are all about variety. Some people thrive on routine. I’m just not the type to drink a shake every morning, so I get creative incorporating superfood blends into my diet in other ways. We’ve added Genuine Health Vegan Greens+ O to the crust of our breakfast tarts, to nice cream in our smoothie bowls, and this time to our taco dressing. We’ve used this dressing on tacos at dinner and at breakfast. It’s so flavourful and might just be the most nutrient-dense sauce you ever drizzle on a taco!

Superfood Cilantro Lime Taco DressingPrint Recipe
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 6 green onions
- 2 cups fresh cilantro, stems included
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 2 tsp lime zest
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 scoop Genuine Health Vegan Greens+ O
- 1/3 cup water
- salt & pepper to taste
In a blender, add the olive oil, cumin, and coriander. Do not combine yet.
Chop the green onions, cilantro, and jalapeños. Add to the oil and spices.
Zest and juice the lemon. Peel the avocado. Add to the blender.
Add 1 scoop of Genuine Health Vegan Greens+ O and combine.
Blend until the colour resembles a solid green, without any large chunks. Don't heat the mixture.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
If it's too thick, add up to 1/3 cup water and combine until you have a consistency you like.
We add the liquid to a condiment squeeze bottle. It's a great way to get just the right amount on your taco!
