I find sauces intimidating. No idea why. I just assume it’s not going to be as good as something from a jar. NOT TRUE. This is so good and really not difficult!
This is the perfect sauce for cauliflower wings! Yum.
Fair warning, this is gonna be spicy! If you want to tone it down, go easy on the chilli flakes.
Sweet Thai Chilli SaucePrint Recipe
- 2 tbsp Water
- 2 tbsp Constarch
- 3/4 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Rice Vinegar
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Rep Pepper Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Garlic (minced)
In a small bowl, mix the 2 tbsp water with the cornstarch and set aside.
In a small pan, combine the water and vinegar. Bring to a boil.
Add the remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
Add the cornstarch mixture to the pot. Give it a quick stir make sure it's well mixed first.
Simmer for 1 minute and then remove from heat. You should notice the sauce thicken quickly.
Pour into a container for dipping.
